Omaha Artist Judy Freeland was interested in drawing and creating art at a young age. Her mother enrolled her in classes at the Des Moines Art Center as soon as she was old enough to take classes. In college, Judy minored in art and taught school for 20 plus years.

Pointillism is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image. Ms. Freeland has found watercolor pointillism enjoyable. If one tries it on a painting that you have set aside because of creative disappointment, you will find it adds interest, vibrancy and improves the depth to your object!
