Born and raised in Dodge Nebraska, I started drawing at the age of four and never stopped. I learned to paint in oils from Honolulu Hawaii artist, Bernard Summers. I then went on to take Illustration and Interior Design in college.

In 1991 I started my own business “Murals by Patricia”. My murals have been featured in the Omaha World Herald. I’ve also done many murals in the Street of Dreams, Smart House, Parade of Homes, and the Symphony Designer Showhouse. My home which is filled with murals was one of the Designer Showhouses for the Symphony.

I have painted on every conceivable object imaginable. Furniture, doors, lamp shades, toilet lids, bird baths, rugs, ceiling fans, pillars to only name a few.

Now working in acrylics I paint on canvas doing portraits, still life and landscapes.
