This is a great opportunity to help someone attend a workshop of his or her liking. Genie loved and attended many workshops, where she learned, laughed and made new friends. Genie was a lovely person and it showed throughout her beautiful art work.
There will be 2 recipients selected and shall receive $250.00 each.

This fellowship will entitle you the opportunity to attend a workshop of your choice. Members may apply for this fellowship by filling out the application.
This fellowship will pay the recipient $300.00. For more background information about this fellowship, please see your Omaha Artist Inc. roster.

Artwork Photo Shoot We will be photographing artwork for those that need digital images to put on their gallery page. Don't worry if your art is framed behind glass. Melody Stohlman has invited anyone interested to join her and other artists at her farm to work on art projects, such as watercolor, sketching, etc. Wednesday June 12th from 10:00 am to early afternoon about 2:00. She will provide ice tea, and feel free to bring other drinks such as soda and a sack lunch for lunch. Melody’s phone # is 402 440 6284 and she advises not to use Google for driving directions. Her address is 10305 310th Street, Murdock Nebraska.
The best directions when coming from Omaha is to use the Mahoney State Park Exit 426 and turn left to 310th. On 310th turn right and keep going to the farm.
ANAC members that are NOT going to Alliance, please bring your ANAC Selection showpieces and $15.00 on Monday, June 3rd to The Designer’s showroom at 12321 Emmet St. between 11 am and 1 pm.
These show pieces will be delivered and hung at the 2013 Conference “Go West: Prairie Visions 2013” in Alliance, NE. June 12th through June 15th, 2013.

The conference in Alliance, NE 2013 will give everyone a chance at trying something new, learning something new in your own media or enhancing your own art. The Box Butte Art Society will be giving everyone ample workshop opportunities.

You are invited to participate in UNRAVELED, a Visual response to Ravel Unraveled Project. Dorothy Tuma, Project Interfaith, and the Hot Shops are the sponsors. All monies raised will go to Project Interfaith. The prospectus is online at projectinterfaith.org or hotshopsartcenter.com. You will find all the information about sizes, and process to enter, etc on the form.

Help us celebrate our opening exhibit with artistic interpretations of "Turtles! as Totems." From the Bald Eagle of Freedom to the Dove of Peace, totems are everywhere around us. We encourage submissions of art that are inspired by turtles and/or the cultural meanings attached to turtles.
