Katrina began her career at her artist mother's knee as well as her father's. She took art classes-joined the Bellevue Artists' Association and went to Metropolitan Community College to become a commercial artist. The next 15 years Katrina won several awards for her watercolor paintings including Winsor Newton Award given by the Na-tional Watercolor Society and the Signature Member status...yet, she is an artist of other mediums and art forms. She currently enjoys painting cityscapes, old bikes, cars, chairs and landscapes. She enjoys a lot of color and re-peated shapes expressing stories leaving the interpretation to the viewer!
