I live in Council Bluffs, Iowa, am married to Jerry, and have two adult children. My daughter, Kelly, lives and works in Tempe, Arizona, with her husband, Jason. My son divides his time between Omaha and Hawaii, working in the field of real estate development.
I run, do yoga, swim, garden, hike, and love to read.

I am a Registered Nurse at The Nebraska Medical Center and work three days a week as a Diabetes Nurse Educator. From the time I was a small child I have always been drawn to art. I did draw and take art classes in high school, but then took a break for thirty years while I raised children, etc. Three years ago I began taking art lessons from John Miller. I love it!!
I paint mostly in oils, but am exploring and painting and just having a ball. I had a painting accepted into a juried art show for Iowa Artists last summer at the Herbert Hoover Museum. That has been the highlight of my art "career."
