Even though I have had a life long interest in art, it is only in recent years that I have started painting and drawing. My favorite subjects to paint are people, especially children. I love attempting to capture the special moments of childhood, such as moments of total joy when jumping in a swing, and moments of sweet tenderness when surprising Daddy with a hug.

Many years ago I created a life size panel showing a portion of the Sistine Chapel, the Creation of Adam. This is an image of God reaching forth to give Adam the gift of life. My idea was to have people pose in the position of Adam. Symbolically this was to remind everyone that God is reaching out to us all. I did show it at Septemberfest in 2000 and received several compliments.
